Meet Our team

I have always enjoyed being around children. Volunteering as a teenager to look after kids made me jump into the world of childcare right out of high school. My dream was always to open Kandyland Kids Learning Center. And after lots of planning, hard work and dedication (and over 12,000 hours of experience,) it has all come true. I have created a space for education, hands-on learning, and imagination – where children have toys and activities to inspire them to grow!

With a lifetime filled with family, children and pets, I have been taking care of little ones for a long time. I am one of four children and have looked after 7 nieces and 4 nephews. My most recent experience as a Nanny has brought me to Kandyland. I am very excited to begin my daycare career with Kandyland. I especially enjoy looking after the little ones.

I am currently enrolled in classes to finish my degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. To enrich my background I am happy to be working with so many kiddos at Kandyland. I have loved children from the time I was very young and enjoy watching them learn and discover through learning. I am an avid reader who is currently staying consistent with at least 3 books a month. I also enjoy hanging out with my cat, Nala, and my boyfriend during my free-time.

Hi l’m Lisa McCaslin aka Skittles. I’m a mother of two children and am still enjoying my relationship with them. I homeschooled both of them until our oldest was in 8th grade. When our oldest, Emily, dreamed of having her own daycare, both her dad and I did what we could to support her and make this dream an opportunity. I began working along side her and fell in love with the children that now attend Kandyland.
